Closet Confidential: Inside Savannah Miller's Bohemian Wardrobe

Chaos reigns in Savannah Miller’s Cotswolds cottage. 

Her eldest two children Moses, 10, and Lyra, seven, are at school, but four-year-old daughter Bali is off sick.

The lunchtime pasta is boiling over on the Aga, naughty cat Bindi is jumping all over Miller’s new lingerie collection, and Florence, the Briard dog, is under everyone’s feet.

The 36-year-old lady of the house – pretty and lithe but frazzled - is trying to open a can of sweetcorn and soothe Bali, while pulling on a pair of sequined skinny jeans.

Her eco-builder husband Nick Skinner is outside, presumably hiding, along with the family’s three sheep and three chickens. 

Miller launched Nine, a Designers For Debenhams collection in September – think an English take on Isabel Marant with easier prices – and now she’s branching out into lingerie and nightwear (launching later this year).

She’s plumped for delicate shades of pink, navy and cream with gentle prints, in soft fabrics.

'It’s hard to find nice stuff that’s affordable. It’s often overly sexy or a bit mumsy,' she says.
